I have to be honest; I have no idea if there are any decent pubs in EC at all. I do know that they have a couple nice restaurants where a rabble could gather. We could gather up at Ruby Tuesday, Golden Corral, anywhere.

Where in EC are you? I'm in Mt. Olive...halfway between Raleigh and Wilmington. There are a couple of decent pubs, small but decent, in Goldsboro and several in Raleigh. I'd love to start a kilt night in Eastern NC.

I'm actually NOT in EC. I'm in South Mills, about halfway between EC and Chesapeake, up US17.

OK, so I just now figured out what EC stands for. I've been puzzling over this since the thread started.
