Foothills Highland Games Nov. 7

The final games of the season in NC are fast approaching.
Once again they will have some excellent musicians with
Rathkeltair and The Hooligans both playing throughout the day.
We can bat around a time and place to meet up.

I haven't been to this one yet, but plan to be there this year. I'll be the one wearing the dandelion.

I have another event on Nov. 7 that I'd like to attend, and I'm weighing my options. What size event is the Foothills Games? Is it as big as Loch Norman or Gatlinburg or a small event like the Mint Hill Games?
I suppose a better question is about how many people attend it? I've perused the webiste and it looks pretty impressive. The Baron of Cowdenknowes is the "Chief of the Games" this year. I met him a few years ago at the festival in Franklin.
Thanks for the help.

It's probably comparable to Mint Hill (but I haven't been to that one in several years and it may have grown). Definitely much smaller than Loch Norman. Clan participation is pretty good, and a decent number of vendors. Small and intimate is a fit description.

The device I'm using won't let me pull up the site. Where is it held and what is admission?

It will be in Jackson Park in Hendersonville, NC. Advance ticket sales ended yesterday, so you'll be stuck with buying at the gate. $15 adult day pass, and since you're new to the area, I bet you've never seen the Hooligans live. That alone is well worth the admission!
