Smile Scotland County Highland Games

For those of you who have mourned the closing of the Flora MacDonald Games in 2007, there is a resurrection of sorts; Scotland County is starting up a Highland Games October 2-4 at the John Blue House and Historical Complex just outside of Laurenburg.

Visit their website at www.schgnc.org for more details. (You can download a copy of their promotional brochure from the site)

Please pass the word, and if possible, do attend and make this one a success!

Our local organization, The Cape Fear Valley Scottish Clans, is supporting them with both personnel and money.

Hope to see a lot of the rabble there

I would if I could, but I can't so I ain't.

I wish I could be there, and I hope it goes well and grows for next year.

I would love to attend this, but will be on the other side of the globe by then. Hopefully it's on for next year.

Great, I'll do it. Right now it looks like a very good chance I'll make it.

Will be there with the whole family. The boys love the pipes.
Will there be any/many venders there? I have to save my allowance or the wife will blow a fuse.
