I used to do partial boils on the stove (I could only boil about 2 gallons on my range). I've got a 15.5 gallon keg I've modified; cut an opening in the top, added a sightglass, drain, and thermometer to the side, and put in an electric water heater element. I need to finish the internal drain plumbing, and finish wiring up the electric. 50amp wire is
expensive (planning for future expansion to all-grain).
