Brew Fest, July Visit

We've finally got definite summer vacation plans and thought we'd give notice for anyone crazy enough to want to hang with us.

We're traveling up to Canada in the last week of July and will be stopping in Portland for a few days, ostensibly to visit relatives, but really to visit with friends and go to the annual Brew Fest.

Maybe this year it won't be 100 degrees and humid. But regardless, there will be beer, so eventually we won't notice if it's hot.

We'll be at the Brew Fest on Saturday, July 25th, most likely for the whole afternoon/early evening. The kiddies will be in tow, so late night festivities may not be possible, but we'd certainly love to meet up with anyone who can make it.

Feel free to PM myself or Jamie (Panache) if you need any further info, or just show up-we're not hard to find generally, especially if I can convince the whole family to wear Loud MacLeod!

Be well,

Star

Hmm. I can't promise anything, but I will see if Diane and I may be able to make it. July's really busy for us and it's a long drive, but the brew fest is meant to be great and we'd love to drag our friend Kevin along.

I would love to meet at the Brew Fest, except I will be competing at the Seattle Highland Games, in Enumclaw, WA. It is the North American Championships. Maybe next time!

We are not going to Enumclaw because I'm working all that day, so a visit to the Brewfest may just be in order. I'll talk to you closer to the date.

I live way closer to Portland than Seattle. Have a safe and exciting trip!

The Portland Highland Games are the weekend prior to your arrival:

I'm planning to be at the games' ; wish I could swing being at two festivals in a row.
Hope your visit to the "Rose City" (Portland) goes well.

One last bump,

Any X Markers interested in meeting up at the Portland Brewfest should either post here or PM myself or the lovely F-H.C.A.G.

Cheers

Jamie
