Green Lane Scottish Irish Festival 9/11-9/13

Can't decide between this http://glpsifestival.com/, the Scottish-themed weekend at Ren Faire on the same weekend or the Celtic Classic the following week.

Pretty sure I'll only be allowed one.....

Recommendations appreciated.

I'd have to say Celtic Classic, hands down.

Don't know anything about the Celtic Classic, what Ren Fair? I threw at Green Lane two years ago and thought it was run well and had a lot to offer. Various events for all, including piping, dancing, demos, lots of vender tents and clan tents. I'd go back again this year, but; I'd already made arraignments to go out to Ligioner, so I'm already committed. If you don't mind posting web sites for the Ren Fair and Celtic Classic I would definitely look at them.

Green Lane is real nice, by the way, but Bethlehem just has far more to offer

As well as the earlier-in-the-year Celtic Fling on the same grounds, the Ren Faire has a Themed weekend. Click around their site to find.

Biggest problem with Ren Faire is the cost. But more entertainment for the kiddies I will have in tow.
Although if I keep them stoked up on Irn Bru they'll not care where they are...

Celtic Classic is in 2 weeks (not next weekend)... We'll be there in our usual spot!

I WANTED to go to Green Lane this weekend, but we have a wedding tomorrow (Kelly is the maid of honor). I hope the rain stops so you all can enjoy it!

I went today... this was the FIRST celtic festival Kelly and I have gone to in over 5 years where we DIDN'T WORK!

Not much music and the ground was very muddy, but we had a good time walking around and shopping like NORMAL people!
