Hey guys,

Anyone in the Greenville area interested in getting a kilt night together for next month?

Sure,

Where are you thinking of getting together and when? I'll need a little lead time to clear it with my better half

I honestly have no idea yet! Just wanted to gauge interest and then take it from there, but it'll be some time in May, and probably at a nice pub/bar. Just want to meet some XMarkers in the area!

If I remember correctly, there's a pub right downtown called Connolly's, right on East court street. It's been a couple of years since I was there, but it always had a nice, pub feel. Lots of dark wood, Guiness on tap, usually some live music with a bit a Celtic feel to it, and a lower level with multiple dart boards hanging.

It's been a few years since I went bar hopping, but if that one is still there, it had a nice feel, and a decent menu as well...

Sounds like a great location! I haven't been there yet since turning 21 this past February, but it looks like a good place to enjoy a pint and have a good time.

Almost as far away as you can get, and still be in the state. It's anywhere from a 4 to 5 hour drive, depending on traffic, and how fast you drive. Greenville, is in the NorthWestern part of the state, while Charleston is on the SouthEast Coast.

Well since summer is getting into swing, I was thinking that kilt night should be put into play soon. Either sometime this month, or maybe the night before the Grenville Scottish Games? Any thoughts?
