The Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games e-group is organizing a Scottish Invasion of Trinity Hall in Dallas, 5321 E. Mockingbird Ln., on 7/31 at 7pm. I believe that Seamus Stout is playing that night. Come on out and share a meal and a pint (or two, or three...)!

Interestingly enough, I will probably be there that night for another engagement. A friend of mine will be celebrating her birthday at the Trinity Hall.

Vin is trying to keep a headcount for the staff to know how many to expect. So far, he is up to 34 I believe. It'd be great to have Xmarks well-represented.

The official head count is currently 60. It's likely that many will be Gunns and McDonalds. Cajuncelt and his wife as well as my wife and I will be there. Leatheren will be in the building. Who else will be there? Hallmarktex? Others? We have so many Xmarkers here in the Metroplex, surely more can make it!

When my friend made resos for her party, they said they were expecting about 100 people. But they may have been throwing an arbitrarily large number in so they had room for growth.

I think the number may end up a little less than a hundred, but the count is still going up so who knows?

The TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." may be there to film some Scottish country dancers as well!
