 FenCon, Dallas 9/17-19
A little off topic, but are any of our Dallas/Ft.Worth area sci-fi fans attending the FenCon VII Sci-Fi convention at the Crowne Plaza North Dallas (actually Addison) this month? I'll be there Friday night through Sunday afternoon, the 17th-19th. And as usual, I'll be the guy in the kilt...

Looks interesting, but that weekend is pretty shot for me... at least for dedicating any real length of time.
May be able to meet up with you for a quick drink on Friday or Sunday, though, if you're down for it and have the free time ;)

Wow, that's a busy weekend. Doubt I'll make that event as there are many more in DFW that weekend (Grapefest in Grapevine, Plano Baloon Fest, Addison Oktoberfest...)

I should add that I'm going up there with some friends, so I'll be pretty much trapped at the hotel!  But if anyone is attending the con, or wants to drop by for a beer or dram, let me know and I'll shoot you my cell #.
