    North Texas Irish Festival

The party is waiting. Come to the North Texas Irish Festival, make it a kilt weekend, not just a kilt night. March 4th- 6th with bands playing all day, many vendors and the Scottish Village in the Centenial building of Dallas Fair Park. Yes, it is called the Irish Festival, but all Celts (and those who wish they were are welcome). I will be there at the Clan Keith tent, come by and say Hi.

Meet up at the North Texas Irish Festival

Fellow North Texans - Is there any interest in a meet up at the North Texas Irish Festival; say on Saturday, March 5th?

Sure, a meet up would be a good idea. This'll be my first kilted outing and so I'm pretty excited about it!

Any suggestions on sock wear for a casual look? I have some heavy dark wool socks that I can wear with my Bates boots that might look okay. Thoughts? I'm certainly not going to wear white gym socks....AACK!!

J, dark socks with your boots will be fine. No one has to wear kilt hose, but those of use who "represent" our clan tend to be more traditional.
    See you there.
