| | | The Salado Scottish Clan Gathering & Highland Games: Nov 13 - 15, 2009
Hello, All!
The Salado Scottish Clan Gathering & Highland Games will be held from Friday evening, November 13, 2009, through Sunday, November 15. It's the oldest surviving Highland Games/Scottish Festival in Texas and it draws a nice crowd. For a small hill country Texas town, the games produce many vendors, athletes, pipers, dancers, other musicians, and clans. I have been a regular attendee for years and don't like to miss it.

I'll be there with my MacDougall kinsmen... The Salado Games are also the site of this year's annual general meeting for the Maxwell Society (on the off chance that there are any more Maxwells on the forum).
Looking forward to seeing you all there. We'll have to plan a group photo.

OY! - I may have a scheduling conflict I cannot escape. If so, another will man my MacIntyre tent, but I'd hate to miss the games.
