Hello Everyone!!!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be opening a new show on Friday, July 10, called Captain Blood! It is a pirate themed melodrama to be performed at the Pocket Sandwich Theater.
What is a melodrama you may ask? Great question. A melodrama is an audience participatory theatrical experience. While not as directly involved as in improv, a melodrama audience is free to cheer for the good guys, boo and hiss at the bad guys, and throw popcorn at everyone.
What is the dress code? Another good question. You can come in business casual to weekend casual, to full formal dress if you so choose. They only ask that you come in dressed.
When are the performances? You are on a roll today. The show runs from July 10th to August 22nd. The shows are performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm (the house opens at 6:30 for dinner service) and on Sunday at 7pm (the house will open at 5:30).
Wait a minute, did you mention dinner service? Yes, I did. The Pocket is a full service dinner theater that serves deli style foods such as sandwiches, salads, soups and nachos. And, here's the best part, you can have a beer or glass of wine with your dinner. The cost varies, but is pretty affordable.
Speaking of costs, how much are tickets? I knew you'd ask. Ticket prices range depending on the day of the week. Thursdays - $8.00, Friday - $12.00, Saturday - $16.00 and Sunday - $10.00
This is a fantastic deal. Who do I call to get a reservation? You would need to call the box office at 214-821-1860 between 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
Ok, so we came to the show, had a great time, laughed a few inches off our backsides and overall had a good time. What now? Well, depending on how early you have to get up for work the next day, if you have to, there is Trinity Hall across the street at Mockingbird Station, or Trader Vics just down the street, both within walking distance.
Excellent, well where is this place? The Pocket Sandwich Theater is located at the corner of 75 and Mockingbird. The address is 5400 E. Mockingbird, #119 Dallas, Tx 75206. You can also take either the red or blue line Dart rail to Mockingbird Station and cross Mockingbird. The Pocket is just down from the Jason's Deli.
