| | | Opening Hampton Pub Kilt Night!
When Sir William and I sat at the bar of the Fredericksburg Pub last Wednesday, we chatted with the GM Jim of the chain. I inquired when their latest Pub in Hampton was to open. I know the staff who went there to open it up. He said, it looks like September 6.
Okay KROVA it’s time for a Kilt Night to get these lads and lassies off in a grand style. Saturday, 9/12 at 7 PM. Hoping for a good turn out of the Tidewater Rabble and for the NOVA/DC Rabble to make the journey. I’m sure those of you in the Richmond/Williamsburg area can slip down.
If you never been in one of these British Pubs, you are in for a real treat!

The local SAMS Post will be notified. Looks like we will have a good time and we are looking forward to meeting all who show up.

I had hoped I could attend but learned today that I will have to make do with German Pilsner that weekend. I'll be in Stuttgart - or at least on my way home from there.
Hoist an ALE for me!

Thanks to David H in finding out there has been a delay in opening of the new Hampton Pub. So we are changing the Kilt Night to Keegans in Kohl's Shopping Center off Jefferson Avenue and Bland in Newport News. Same date Saturday 9/12th and time 7 PM.
We will plan another Kilt Night at soon to be opened Hampton British Pub later. |

Hopefully, I can make the new date. Still can't make the 12th as I'll be on a plane returning from Germany.
German beer is good, but I still prefer a good ale!
