| | | Robert Burns Supper Fredericksburg 2009
Rabble!
You are invited to The Scottish Society of Fredericksburg"s annual Burns Supper on January 30, 2010 at the Fredericksburg Country Club. The 209th observance and celebration of the life of Robert Burns begins at 6 o'clock p.m. with a social hour and festivities starting at 7 o'clock.
The rousing Mary Washington University Eagle Pipe Band and Highland Dancers and music and song by Deborah Wenrich and Mary Triola of Moch Pryderi will take us on a trip to the hills and glens of Scotland with their evocative Celtic music.
The price per person is $30 until January 9th., after this date it is $35. Final reservations by January 25th. This payment is non-refundable with no postponement due to inclement weather.
PM me and I will give you the address where to send your check.
It's a great evening and fun time. Hope some of you can attend. Here is the link of last years event that Meinfs posted.

Hmmm. I'm not going to make Ferintosh in January so perhaps this might be a nice mid-winter event. ....

Due to the inclement weather, the Burns Committee and the Country Club have decided to postpone tonight's Burns Dinner. We will meet with the Country Club next week to schedule a new date which we will forward to you as soon as possible. I've PM those of you who have expressed an interest in coming the above message that has gone out. In case there maybe others who may have reserved but are not known by me. What good news that it is to be re-scheduled, the announcement said it wouldn't be for inclement weather! |

Our new date is February 27th at the Country club. Everything else is the same: times, place, raffles, etc.
