| | Scottish Heritage/Tartan Day Mar 28th
Calling ALL WAKO'S,
There is a Scottish Heritage/Tartan Day event being held at Puyallup Fairgrounds on Sat 28th from 10am until 5pm. I live across the road fom it so of course I will be there. I am interested in who all are planning to attend so that we can agree as to time and location to meet up. This will be my first time attending this event and therefore I don't know what has been the habit in the past.

it is not a huge event but very nice music last year. Don Moore and myself will be there all day at the Lamont & Moore table. Stop by any time. i would suggest this for the gathering point.
I would suggest we pick a time convient for all to gather. To start the process " How about 1PM?"

Maybe I can make it. Turns out, my friend won't be @ home this weekend, so no trip to Oregon. I'll try to show up around 1ish or so. In the morning, I'll be visiting the Tacoma Pull-A-Part wrecking yard with a friend, but will bring the kilt with me, so I can do a quick changeroo in the yard's lot.

Hey Wackos
I had a thought.... yaya I know dangerous - I could blow a gasket.
Originally I posted a possible meeting time at the Lamont/Moore Tent for 1 PM. That is still good for me
BUT.....
Here is an additional thought.
this event is over at 5PM and it is quick to pack our stuff into the car. How about grabbing a bite at a local Puyallup eatery/pub?
See you Saturday
George

Sounds like a plan, George. Cattins is right there but I don't know if they serve a wee half or not. There are numerous places in the Mall area that do. I will stop by the booth to see what the consensus is.

we had a visitor from Zambia here talking with Brian, both lived in the Glasgow area, so we got to hear some Glaswegian
