Venue change!!

Hey all -
I just checked the Mariner's schedule. (which I should have done before, sorry!) They've got a game that night so Pyramid will be PACKED.
As a substitute, I'm going to suggest Paddy Coyne's or Hale's Ales in Ballard.

Chime in with opinions now, and we'll lock down a location in the next few days...

Hale's probably would be a good option. Also, if they're driving up, there is the ability of meeting at Redhook, even though that is in Woodinville. Good food, and decent prices.

Paddy' Coynes is pretty firm about the 21 and over status, so let's plan on Hales.

John I like the Redhook idea, but I'm concerned about our out of town guests being able to locate it. Maybe we can meet there for one of our "regular" kilt nights?

Sounds like a plan to me, Kyle.

Hale's Ales... the kids like the sound of that! We've packed, cleaned the car (had to do this to make room for all the clothes! ), planned our route, and scheduled every minute of our vacation (and we don't leave for another ~58 hours).

Yes, we have a bit of an OCD problem. We don't travel well, but we are trying to improve on that.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone-if we look stressed or cranky, just give us a beer and take the kids away from us and we'll be fine!

Be well,

Star

We'll be arriving in Seattle on Monday, so we should be well rested and ready for a great evening by Tuesday! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Be well,

Yes, we're looking forward to air conditioning. Please tell me Hale's Ales is air conditioned! We just spent the day being tourists-it was great, but now I'm hot, sticky, tired and cranky. I'd better go have a bit of a lie down before tonight.

Be well,

Star
