My family is from the Elkins and Kngwood areas of the state.

As I write this my mouths is watering for some buckwheat pancakes made from real Preston County Buckwheat flour. Grandmother Mildred knew how to keep the starter sweet and tasty.

Lived in Preston Co. for a few years when I was a kid. Loved the 2 feet of snow as a kid, makes great tunnels.

Wouldn't care for it now! One of my jobs has me in the Elkins area quite a bit. It's beautiful in the Elkins Highlands!

Romney here. I used to throw at the Bridgeport games. I lived in Clarksburg for a few years and I loved it up that way. Romney is alright but if I stay in this state I want to move elsewhere.
