Kamloops Highland Games

Anybody coming out this way for it? We should have a Gather if so. If you do come, look for a guy in a black UK, tan shirt and hose, brown belt and shoes, with a black military beret sporting an XMarks pin. At least I think that's what I'll wear -- it's two weeks away and I don't even know what I'm wearing tomorrow.

I live just across from the park and will be there from mid-morning on. Will be wearing a Black Stewart and likely a dark green polo shirt and will definately be on the lookout for you.

Considering flying out for it, but would have to tag on about 5 days of flyfishing to make it worthwhile. HHmmmmmmmmm...

Maybe next year. Long run for a short slide coming out there from Louisville.

Get 'em while they're not on fire. We've had a couple bad burns up here so far this summer, and we're dangerously dry at the moment. Next year might be worse.

Just north of Kamloops is Highway 24, "The Fishing Highway" so called for all the little lakes you pass by.
