The Wizard of BC will be crossing the big water Nov. 19 and 20. He will be visiting the good folks at Tartan Town in Coquitlam on Saturday. We could meet there or at the Foggy Dew pub where we will be eventually.

Today I had the pleasure to meet X-Marks forum owner Steve Ashton who was in town. The meeting was not diminished even by the presence of Big Mikey whose first order of business was to blame me for him having misplaced his own toll bridge transponder for several months. Ah well, he did give me a lift to the pub.

Steve is a pleasant and knowledgeable chap and if you ever have the opportunity to meet with him in his shop in Victoria perhaps, I recommend his company. The only down side of the meeting was that seeing his kilt cut suit jacket and vest first hand means that I will soon be about $268 poorer. A small price to be paid to be so well dressed.
