I wish we could make it, however barring a miracle we won't be able to be there. Canada's really big you know.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wish I could go, but I'll be taken up before Child Protective Services if we both go to Canada, leaving the little darlings to fend for themselves, and we won't be eating much in the next few months if I spend any more money.

Ya'll have a good time now, ya hear!

Be well,

Star

P.S.

Bobbie, you keep those crazy boys in line now!

I'm cleared for work and for picking up the kids, so I am in 100%. I can only make it for the Friday, but I will represent the retired mods (Freelander sporran included).

I'm sure it will be an evening to remember!

I'm scrambling trying to go myself! I am supposed to be administering provincial examinations Friday night and most of Saturday. With luck my pleas to colleagues will find someone who would not be adverse to taking my place for Friday night.

Well, that's all fine and dandy, but you also have to find a place where we can bring the kids and then drive us all home (if you want me to do any drinking). Hey, I know what! You can just come over here and we can drink in the privacy of my living room. Be sure to bring that wonderful wife of yours along!

Good luck! Jamie will be there until Sunday morning, so at least you may get to see him on Saturday night!

Be well,

Star

Jude will not be there with me, either, so at the very least a toast to "Absent Friends" and one to "The Lassies" is in order. And probably one to the Nanaimo Bars, Wirled Peas, the Scottish Diaspora along with individual toasts from each of the members present.

Beginning to look like we will need a designated camera operator that night.
