The Panache and F-HCAG Traveling Road Show

This rag-tag band of kilted gypsies will be in Langley on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Now is your chance to get style tips from the master peacock himself!

To ensure enjoyment for all, including kids, there will be a barbecue at Chez Big Mikey. There is a large playground for the kids, lots of room for carousing adults and the potential for an evening that will put the NorCal rabble to shame.

Plan to arrive around 2:00 to meet and greet, get a drink and share an appie. Dinner will be around 5:00, not sure what it will be yet but it will be good.

If you can bring your main beverage, I'll have soft drinks and those who wish to, will be admitted to "The Blue Boar" for a dram from the collection and YES, there will be Maple Whisky! Oh, and please bring lawn chairs as needed.

Worry not about your dinner, my new best friend will take care of everything.....

And if it's good enough for Mom, it's good enough for you!

Please feel free tp post in this thread but if you are coming, please PM me so I know how much food, pop, etc. to get. As the date gets closer, I'll return your PM with my address and directions.

Alright BC Rabble, let's show them some real Canadian hospitality!

What a gracious invitation but alas the distance would be to great. I will be there in spirit celebrating along side you. Have a grand time and give mum a hug from JolyStNick!

I was going to suggest Rocky Point for some afternoon fun, than maybe a few in the tipsy laird, but either one works for me.

How about Bacon Explosion? I made 2 for Canada Day and every one enjoyed them.

Mikey,

With the posted pic of that new giant stainless beast I think you may have created a whole new category of kilt accessories----the kilt grill. Might need to wrap a little tartan around the bottom of that bad boy and add a sporran for your favorite barbecue sauce. Beauty, eh.

Do you know? I have just discovered that it is perfectly possible to go off people! Well, OK, let me narrow that down a tad; one person!
