Calling All SOKS
Looks like we have all had a very busy summer. Nothing much has happened in the way of kilt nights for far too long. This situation needs to be remedied.
So, Who's up for a wee gathering to chew the fat and enjoy a beer or two?
Cheers,
Rick

I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

We're having a Christmas Party at our place on the 11th of December. Everyone is of course welcome that can make it. We had planned it for the last of November but we're moving into a nicer place at the end of the month.

That weekend is bad for us because we have an RSCD monthly dance happening in Toronto that night and we have to distribute and promote our Burns Supper. We're toast if we can't sell 75 tickets. Plus Catherine wants the opportunity to chat with Bobby Brown in person. He is going to be there playing.
This month is rather bad for us because we're packing to move into a condo unit on the 27th and 28th. It's why we would love to have everyone at our new place in Peterborough on December 11th. Unfortunately, it is quite a distance.
We'd not go to the monthly dance but really no choice in the matter. We don't want to wait until December.
