| | | Kilt Night At the RKilts Atelier May 14th
I will be happy to host this months SOKS Kilt Night on May 14th starting around 7:00 PM. I'll put out a little spread at the shop and from there we can head to "Down the Street", "Fosters", "The Boars Head", and "Bentley's"
I'm Located at 47 York Street, plenty of parking and all the pubs are a short walking distance away.
A number of shows will be in preview at the Festival if one wanted to grab a matinee.
If Coming from Toronto watch for a bottle neck at Hwy 8 heading into Kitchener. Rush hour in Stratford only lasts 15 minutes.
Cheers
Robert

I'm in - like I said in the other thread, I want to see what the drive to and from Stratford is like without the snow storm.

Robert | Ah yes I've been caught in this a couple of times, is there an alternate? Glen can you add SOKS tags to this so it's easier to find?

Yes, I continue on the 401 till I get to the Exit to Plattsville. Upon exiting I stay in the left lane turning left at the light. Continue west to through the first traffic light. going up the hill continuing west till the first side road. Turn Right on to Trussler Road. continue North there will be a 4 way stop continue on Trussler, another stop,(red flashing light) Continue north and you will hit the hwy7/8 clover leaf head west on 7/8 towards Stratford.

The second largest snowfall ever recorded in Canada happened in Algonquin park. Something like three feet of the stuff fell overnight, much to the chagrin of the campers. The month was June! I don't recall the year, but it was sometime in the fifties I think.
And we used to make fun of the Americans who drove to Canada in Summer with skis on the roof rack.
So, no guarantees, but we are hoping for a snow free May 14th.
Cheers,
Rick

What's an atelier and where do I find it? Is that a Dutch word? Should a wear a Freedom Kilts kilt to an Rkilts sponsored booze up? Would I be kilt if I did? These and other asinine questions will be answered shortly.
OK I recounted, that was 5 questions but they were still asked by an ass.
