Kilt Night on the Shores of Lake Ontario!
Calling all SOKS and other rabble-icious ruffians -
We are arriving in the GTA on Thursday July 1st and are staying in the lovely Country Inn Oakville overlooking the grand scenic QEW. We will be in town until the morning of July 4th.
Currently our plan is to stop in Stratford on the way from Windsor paying a visit to Robert at RKilts and then on to Oakville and our lovely hotel.
Don't know how much free time we'll have but I do think a Kilt Night is in order.
So what say ye SOKS?!

Saturday is usually better (July 3)
I was thinking that we are overdue for a night of swishing the pleats.

I don't know what my work schedule is yet, but I'll see what I can do.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Actually that's Canada day and Robert will be at the Highland Games in Embro. We're looking at arriving there before lunch and maybe having lunch with Robert. I dunno how he is staffed in his booth - maybe I'll get us all some haggis on a stick and we can eat in his booth. (Or a new favorite at festivals here - macaroni and cheese on a stick. <shudder> )
