It was a great night! It was so good to get out with the rabble again! Been a very long time since I was out with the rest of SOKS, and even longer since I've been on XMarks.

Aren't you supposed to introduce yourself as a newbie? We have to formerly recognize you and welcome you to the forum.

That's the problem with living in a free society. Now with my new name I'm flying under the radar, nobody actually knows who I am, I'm anonymous. If I tell people "Hey it's me, Grant, formerly known as ccga3359" people have the choice to acknowledge me or, more than likey not. If they just think I'm a newby blessed with an extra long name they might start taking me seriously.

Don't I deserve that? To finally be taken seriously?

I think there's a poll going about that.
It was good seeing some SOKS again.
And speaking of socks (kind of), Robert - the blue Edwardian hose are perfect - great fit, nice heavy weight, long enough for a double turnover, they match the blue in my kilts. You need to let more people know that your father is making these.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.
