Pity I cannot make it but I know you will have a great time and want to see loads of photos!

Remember to moor the long ship below the weir on the Nith!

I'm at Ferintosh the week after you, but I may well be in Edinburgh on that weekend!
What're the plans?

P.S. Dumpfries

On Saturday we will drive up to Loch Lomond, Glengoyne Destillery and Sterling before ending up in Edinburgh. We have plans for a nice dinner and then explore some of Edinburghs pubs.
If you have any restaurants and pubs to recommend I will be grateful.
On sunday we will visit some of Edinburghs sights before we head for the airport.

Now make sure you leave Ferintosh standing. I'm planning on staying there the weekend after you.

There is no shortage of pubs in Edinburgh The Highstreet and the Grassmarket are good places to go There is pubs all along Rose street and George street a bit more expensive. The Royal Oak has trad music on down stairs if that's what you want? spoiled for choice !
