    Camo X-Kilt help needed

I want to make an X-Kilt using camouflage fabric. To have it look right, I'm going to have to cut it out selvedge to selvedge because it would look hokey if the camo pattern ran sideways. Would 4 yards be enough fabric or would I need more because of going selvedge to selvedge?

You won't need any more fabric just because you're cutting it selvedge to selvedge. 4 yards of double width is plenty.

If it is 60 inches wide you might then get a longer length out of the fabric cutting across the warp threads than cutting two lots of kilt length across the weft.
