Maybe I'll go see it just for that though. I kinda want to build a "creepy" sporran. Maybe a severed head sporran with black kilt for Halloween(which is as big as Christmas in this house).
A shrunken head, voodoo sporran with a rolled up twenty dollar bill in it's mouth, like a cigarette, and a witch doctor kilt might work.

I like the way you think!

Well in keeping with the Toy Story 3 theme, one of the new characters is called Lotso Hugs Bear and would make a fine Sporran.

If you go see A-Team, wait until after the credits are over to leave the theater.

The question is (and there are so many possible questions), does one leave the arms and legs on, or take them off?
AHEM! Amidst all of the frivolity and merriment in this thread, have you all lost sight of the fact that the OP said he was beginning a project, and would post pictures as he went along on that project? This thread is now WEEKS old, and not one picture of the project in question! HEY FARLANDER, it's time to put up your photos, or if you haven't begun your project, time to get your rear in gear and post some photos! Otherwise, this has become one of the most lengthy and elaborate teases ever!

I believe you missed the WIP steps. We do, indeed have a complete full mask cookie monster sporran. What I do not believe we've seen is a photo with said sporran in use.

I do not have a picture of the next steps, but they consists of:
- Turning the Cookie Monster inside out, (including his arms and legs)
- Then sew the arms and legs up close to the body
- Next cut off the arms and legs
- Turn him right side out
- Sew on a strap

You end up with something like this:

I am the proud owner of an old growth Cookie Monster pelt myself and have often considered making it into a sporran. Mine is already a puppet, shaping the bottom and installing a zipper to facilitate later use would be fairly straightforward.

I too can hear Elsie's scandalous outburst at the sight of such a beastie, but it would be worth it.
