    Really cool!

Careful with the flash, it can destroy art work and musuem security don't like it very much.

Don't be careful, just, for the love of God, don't use it at all for taking photos of paintings!

Paintings that have lasted hundreds of years have been completely destroyed after being discovered in some dark attic, where they were protected from the dangers of light.

I don't know why the museums don't let people know it more strongly... it's not because the museum simply wants to deny you your right to take photos of things.

    Thanks for bringing it up!

    Cheers,

    Michael

These where taken with my mobile . no flash my friend ...........but thanks for the advice
the reason I took them and the other twenty or so that i took is because like me
some people just don't have the time to get to their local museums
. Unfortunately for me work has went quiet and I'm going to use all my spare time off
to visit some of the places of historic significance that lie on my doorstep and I haven't visited for a while .

As there is nothing better than breathing in all that historical air
I will be carefull when taking photos and hopefully i will be able to post a few of them

An excellent use of some new-found time!

Looking forward to seeing more, and thanks for helping to share and preserve them!

    Cheers,

Does the first painting have a battle / time period reference ? It looks to be medieval, judging by the swords.
    Thanks for sharing.
