We'd love to have you if you are ever out this way vacationing. Have you tried Contacting the group in Alabama and Georgia? There are a great bunch of guys over there. Not sure how much of a trip that would have to be for you though as I don't know what part of Louisiana you are in.

I am in Shreveport LA, not far from TX. They used to have a group here called the red shanks but split up before I moved here..

Me and a friend of mine are going to put on a sword demo at our next festival hoping to get people interested,would be happy to meet y'all if I am ever that way
