    Kilts on a Construction Site

Gentlefolk: I just caught this, what appears to be a hamburger, or beef pie, commercial, on YouTube. I have no idea how old it is, but it features Scotsmen in kilts.

I liked the plaid and brooch the most, though the white hose were "special".

Yes it's the famous Australian Pie (four n twenty) advertisement. It was a great ad and received acclaim here in Australia. I do believe it has been on the forum before, but I never get sick of seeing it. They had the kilts in it because they were promoting that they used Angus beef in the pie. Thanks for putting it up.

Oh wow... As an Aussie living in the US, that's left me wanting for a good meat pie. I make them myself for special dinners, but what I'd do to be able to grab a pack of frozen pies at the shops...

Anyway - did you notice that half those kilts were worn a good 4" up from the knee?

Some of them were up closer to the waist!

I suspect that for the commercial the kilts were deliberately kept short just to be more "suggestive".

I'm glad that all of you enjoyed it. I think it's hilarious and a great ad.
