    Exciting new product....

The prototype has just arrived and pictures will need to be taken, so it may be a little while before this appears on our gift shop catalog site, but I wanted to give a sneak peek here of a new product we will soon be offering....

    Just four words.

    TROPICAL

    WEIGHT

    KILT

    JACKET

Oh come now. We need at least a wee bit more information. What kind of fabric, what kind of jacket? What price range? Don't make us wait for all the interesting details please :-)

    It's linen.

It will be available in a variety of colors.

We should be able to retail it for under $300.

    And it is fantastic. :-)

If there are no pictures, it hasn't happened yet.

Okay, I admit it--you've got my attention!
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

Linen? Interesting. When you mentioned tropical weight, thought perhaps you meant tropical weight wool. Like the idea of the linen. Hope it's a little on the rougher, slubby side rather than something too smooth. Hmm, maybe this new jacket will go with my box pleat kilt I just ordered today from STM :-) Am curious to see pics - soon I hope!
