New articles on our web site

We've uploaded a few new articles to our web site, by our forum's resident historian, Todd Wilkinson.

The first is titled "Armstrong's Lantern: Spaceflight's Scottish Connections." I think a more fun name may have simply been "Tartans in Space!" :-) It's a really interesting read and my favorite of the new bunch!

The next is called "In Any Rank or Station: the life of Gen. Hugh Mercer."

And the last is an interesting look at the VA-46 Clansman US Navy attack squadron.

    Enjoy!

An excellent bio on General/Doctor Hugh Mercer. It will be used in our annual observance of his birth. Thank you Todd and Matt.

    Ern,

I'm chuffed that you all would want to use the article -- to be quite honest, I threw it together several years ago when I was serving as our Scottish society's newsletter editor. In fact, I think the inspiration for it was some of your photos here on Xmarks.

    Matt,
Thanks for sharing these. I especially enjoyed the Clansmen article from the Navy squadron.
