    Hi Res images

Does anyone know where the best place might be to get good high resolution images of tartan fabric (not the digital representations). Thanks everyone!

The images on Lochcarron/somethingsomething are pretty good, once I had swatches in hand.

I'll grab a link and take a quick photo.

Posts 23 and 24 in this thread feature 2 LC Strome offerings, Clan Scott modern green and modern red respectively.

EDIT: the "other" red on page one in that thread linked is House of Edgar 16oz, Clan Scott modern red.

A quick e-mail to Lochcarron explaining why you want the images and requesting permission to use their copyright material might save you some trouble down the road.

I might be able to help but you haven't said how many you want, are they standard setts and what you mean by hi-res - 300 dpi; tiff, jpg, bmp etc?

300 dpi is great but I didn't want to make anyone work for it I just wanted to play around with the texture of the twill in photoshop. So it really doesn't matter much, which sett.

Google up Tartans by Air. Digital, but good.
