Here are four swatches from Scotweb. I currently have a Kilt and Fly Plaid on order based on the right sample, N. Batley, Ltd.

The Tartan was out of stock but a run was scheduled in February. I ordered the other three swatches when Scotweb reduced the swatch price so I would have a comparison of the four Tarton's they supply.



The Swatches are { left to right}:

N. Batley, Ltd.

The great news is any of the four samples would produce a fine Kilt! While the colors will not run true from display to display, this sample shows all four together with the yellow stripe as a common element. The thread size seems to account for the small differences in the sett.

Scotweb is currently inquiring as to the status of the Batley Tartan, but based on my internet searches, Batley may not be able to produce the Tartan.

In the future, I will order all of the available swatches in the first pass rather than two requests. I can also share the post time for Royal Air Mail was four days and it was much cheaper than Fed Ex!
