Question More of my tartans

I started a thread in General Kilt talk after Robert asked me to. I posted it there because the original thread was there. I'd like to share a few more and since it is not related to another thread I figured I'd post it here because it seems more appropriate.

I have been using some techniques that I've not seen before that create a somewhat 3-D effect. I've done these designs on the Scotweb Tartan Designer and for lack of a better name they've been lumped under the term "basket weave." Some can be rather elaborate and some quite simple - like a very basic hounds tooth. Nobody seems to know how they would look if they were woven into a worsted twill kilt cloth.

Not all of the designs I will share here will have these techniques, but if anyone has any ideas about how they would translate into actual cloth, or how they would look in a kilt or if they've even seen design elements like them I would appreciate hearing them. Of course I would appreciate any opinions on any designs, but I am most curious about the 3-D looks. I will share some of what i posted in the other thread just so you can see some of them without having to find the originals.

Thanks,

Brian
