My Uncle and Aunt brought this blanket back from Scotland and I have been unable to discover which (if any) tartan it is. |

I vote with Matt, though Crawford is very similar... Crawford has a white overcheck.

Possibly. Lindsay and Stewart of Atholl are very similar in terms of design. The major differences only being proportion and the color scheme they are generally woven in.
However, to my eye at any rate, the narrow lines in the photograph look more navy blue than black, and the claret color is certainly more characteristic of the Lindsay.
Though I will say the proportions of the navy lines are not exactly what I'm used to seeing in the Lindsay, either.

The thin lines are navy not black.

Definitely looks like the Lindsay tartan. I couldn't miss it due to half the population of my old school wearing it on a daily basis!
