Ulster options

Blame my asking on middle age but do I remember that the Ulster tartan was being made in PV?

I've tried to check the Marton Mills website but it gets sort of confusing looking through all of those different categories that they have now...it was easier with the old website.

To my knowledge the Ulster tartan is not woven in PV. See the post linked below for what I think is a complete listing of different Ulster weaves. Note that these refer to the yellow/brown version. Not the red/green variety.

Totally agree. Empty categories, abbreviations with no explanation, weights that are 0oz - how do they expect to sell anything?

Regards

Chas

MM doesn't have any Ulster tartan in PV. We had kind of toyed with the idea of weaving it in PV as a "special weave" like we do with the Ireland's National and the American Heritage (among others), but ended up weaving the Tara / Murphy instead.
