I am pleased to announce that The Council of Scottish Amigerous Clans & Families was officially launched at the inaugural meeting of the Council on the 23rd May 2010 in Edinburgh.
So what is The Council of Scottish Armigerous Clans & Families?
A brief update, the Council was set up to support those Clans whom at present are Chieffless and are actively pursuing, or wish to pursue official recognition of a Chief through the Lord Lyon of Scotland, more details can be found on the website

Although the above is the primary objective of the Council. The Council of Scottish Armigerous Clans & Families will actively aid and promote Scottish History & Culture through various events, highland games and other media globally. The Council's Social Network at
http://clancouncil.ning.com gives a interactive platform for visitors and members of the council to interact on various topics of Scottish interest .
