The only realistic translation would be from an existing, scholarly, publication. There is a Gaelic Bible to be found at http://www.electricscotland.com/hist...at/GAELICB.HTM but I cannot comment on the accuracy of it

From the above website your translation would read:

    Mark 12:28
Is thainig fear de na Sgriobhaich, a chuala iad a consachadh, 'sa faicinn gur math a fhreagair e iad, dh' fharraid e dheth: ciod i a chiad fhainte dhiu uile.

    Mark 12:29
Is fhreagair Iosa e: Gum b' i a chiad fhainte dhiu uile: Eisd, Israel: is aon Dia an Tighearna do Dhia :

    Mark 12:30
Agus bheir thu gaol don Tighearna do Dhia le t-uile chridhe, agus le t-uile anam, agus le t-uile inntinn, agas le t-uile neart. Se so a chiad fhainte.

    Mark 12:31
Agus tha an darna fainte coltach rithe : Bheir thu gaol dhad choimhearsnach mar dhut fhein. Nas mua na iad so chan eil fainte eile ann.

Meghan, the Qur'an cannot be sold, only given, so ask any Imam if it's available. After I received mine, I asked if I could make a suitable contribution to the Mosque's charity fund, and received directions, warm smiles, and handshakes.

When Allah (saw) says not to sell the Qur'an, He didnt mean the bound copies. He meant reciting it or teaching it for a price. If you recite the Qur'an outloud and make people pay to hear you, that is haraam (forbidden). Selling the bound copies of the Qur'an is not haraam.

And I can guarantee none of my Imams carry the Gaelic Qur'an. lol. There are probably only like 3 copies in the world considering the demand from Gaelic speaking Muslims is probably slim to none Hell, im the only Irish/Scot-American Muslim that I even know!

actually thats a lie. I know one more.

I think he meant whether it was Islamically allowed or not.

Nah Father Bill, it's totally fair game, Islamically. Just don't recite it and make people pay to hear you.

Given that Chapters/Indigo book store chain is owned and operated by 2 well known Jewish Canadians, I'm sure the Islamic establishment in Canada would be vocal if any rules were being broken.
