Born Fighting

The Smithsonian HD Network will be airing wto one hour specials tonight at 9 and then at 10 Eastern.
The first at 9 pm is Born Fighting-Preachers and Warriors tracing the early battles of a group in Scotland that helped to forge the American spirit centuries later.
At 10 pm, Born Fighting-Shaping America. The Scots-Irish culture and values brought to America, along with their fighting spirit.

I assume this Smithsonian thing is a US cable channel. Even if not and it's a web thing, I have no doubt that any attempt to access this stuff from work will have bad results- either it won't work or I'll have to write a 10 page report on what I downloaded and from where. And for sanity reasons I don't have a home hookup that would result in another 8 hours in front of a PC. So if any Xmarker becomes aware it's also available on DVD or whatever, PLEASE let me know.

I watched the first episode and was delighted with it. It was very well put together and also entertaining. Plus the views of Scotland and Ireland make it worth watching.
