Barb, what can I say?! This is just leaving me speechless. As has been suggested, I cannot wait to get my hands on this masterpiece but I know I must and, fortunately, patience is something I have by the barrow-load, especially at the moment. The local Press is going to love the story of this one, I know it.

Somewhere someone has mentioned accessories. Well, I am doing nothing about those until I actually have the kilt because of the variations in colour registration on our computer monitors. Nothing looks worse than a near miss when it comes to colour matching and, surprise, surprise, I have not yet seen the actual tartan fabric. When I do that will be the time to go shopping.

Enjoy the rest of this visit to Iceland, Barb, and there is no need to rush things on my account.

    Take care,
    Ham.

Is it wrong to get THIS excited about another man's kilt?

    I hope not.

Hamish, YOU might be patient, but everyone else is bouncing off the walls to see the famous 'pleat shot' in your/Rocky/Barb's masterpiece! (I hope I didn't leave anyone out).

Not only is Hamish's 100th kilt due a place in History, but look where it is being sown. In Iceland, on the volcano. Were the pictures taken before or after the eruption? Either wqy, this is history in the making. Great work....Great pictures. thanks for letting us be a part of this.
