This forum is an active, vibrant and varied community. Anyone with an interest in the kilt will be welcome. You don't have to be Scottish, you don't even have to own a kilt yet.
We have found that those who get the most out of X Marks are those who put the most into it. A willingness to share knowledge and experiences with other members is the biggest strength of this forum. We hope you will be an active and participating part of that strength.

A caution to new registration

We are currently experiencing a huge increase in attempts by spammers to register to X Marks. We may have ended up on some spammer list or it just may be the spammers probing the entire web looking for weak sites.

X Marks actively screens every new registration in an effort to keep this forum free from the spam and ads from spammers.

As the favorite tool for spammers are VPN services and TOR we are currently taking extra caution from any new registration using one of these services.

If you register to X Marks and are using a VPN or TOR please understand that the use of these services may result in your acceptance being delayed or rejected outright as these services may have also been used by a spammer and may show up on the published lists of spammers.

Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk

So who on the forum will be participanting on Saturday, 12/1 in the Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk?

I will be with MacCallum/Malcolm Clan. If you would like to participate but don't have a clan marching, you'll be more than welcome to join us.

Afterwards, I plan to catch up with the Gordons and Donnachaidhs at the Fish Market Restaurant for lunch.

Oh, this looks so great! I was in Alexandria last year for the Highland Games (my first ever!) It was a charming town then, and must be really beautiful now! Plus I didn't realize its Scottish ties. Nice. :cool:

Ah, my old stomping grounds. I went to school in Alexandria many moons ago. The Christams Walk is a great deal of fun, as is the town. Have a schooner for me at the Fish Market! The chowder is great as well. Enjoy.
