BC Highland Games June 28th, 2008

The annual BC highland games are coming up in 2 weeks or so. I'm just wondering who is planning to attend.

I will be there in the morning with the family and will be back in the afternoon to watch the heavy athletics, the mass pipe band and to help the beer garden sell their quota (last year they ran out of beer).

Depending how many people are coming out, we may have to have a few back at the Tipsy Laird.

Would have liked to have met other X_marks there but will be on my way to Scotland. I should have booked the flight a few days later and I would have had the best of both worlds

I just thought that with all this weight loss I've been hearing about AND when standing next to "The Substantial One", it seemed apropo.

I don't know about any weight loss, but I have gone done 2 shirt sizes, but I am pretty sure all this beer I have been drinking for the past few weeks will make sure all my kilts still fit

Should I be opening the Tipsy Laird at some point during the day?
