    Beowulf in Kentucky

One of our own was compeating at the Western Kentucky Highland Games yeaterday. Here are some shots.

Revin’ up for the hammer throw.

    The toss.

In friendly conversation with another competitor & an official.

The caber toss. I know the image is small, but yes that is Beowulf.

For the pipers in our group.

Beowulf & Yours Truly. This shot was about 9 hours ago. My face is feeling the effects of no sun screen.

Awesome. I love seeing the others on this board compete. I'm surprised we don't have more athletes.

    Dirk,
I'm glad you and the lovely better half were able to make it to the games. It was great having my own cheering section!

Big Homestead, it is more fun than you know. I enjoy the athletic part and the
camaraderie with the other athletes. You'll be hard pressed to find a greater group of folks to hang out with (present company excepted of course) :-)
