Tom,
What is the parking situation at the festival in Centennial Park? I've done MapQuest directions and seen where the park is and wonder about parking and signage to parking.

Re: Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival

Wally there will be some parking at the park and along the streets ( do not have to feed meters on the week end ). The parking garage will be open, for a fee of course, and there is the county public works building across the street from the park. Even though there is a sign about cars being towed that is opnly during bussnes hours no one has ever been towed on the weekend as long as they are out by 7:30 am on monday.( I work for facilities services and we maintain the building and lot ) Tom

Re: Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival

Tom,
Thank you for your replies. I appreciate the info in both. Knowing the parking situation beforehand will be helpful and I'll look for your yellow MG. I'll be there in my X Marks Tartan kilt.

Your original post alerted me to the existence of that festival. Without your post, my wife and would not be attending on Sat.

Thanks for alerting me to the festival,
Wally

Tom,
As wife and I got there today, we came right across the grounds to locate your yellow MG and meet you. It was good to meet a fellow X Marker. It was perfect weather to enjoy the festival. Thanks again for posting the event since we had previous been unaware of it..
