Bua played at the Buffalo Irish Festival last year - they were really good.
They had the almost-but-not-quite traditional feel of Barleyjuice's first album, but they sang in Gaelic.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I guess I'll have to go and check-out those bands. I think I've heard some of them before.
Seriously... take the time to head over and listen to Seamus Kennedy too. If you haven't stayed for his performance before, it's worth the halt. He's not just talented, but he's funny as hell!!! Meet him after the sets if you have the time. I'll be there.
We play with these acts all the time, and although I'm always psyched to see our good friends Albannach, I'm a little "miffed" at why Rathkeltair isn't there. They would have been an outstanding addition to the mix.

Why does this have to be the same weekend as Irish weekend in North Wildwood? I can't be 2 places at once!

I'm surprised that Albannach has only one set throughout the entire weekend.

That's because they're off to the Maryland Renaissance Festival for Sat and Sun...
