    Celtic Fest Vancouver

I'll have a table set up with Doolin's at the festival Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Should be a good time. Rudi of Celtic Empre will have a table set up. Utilikilts will be there, as well.
There's a ton of activities planned, so if you're local or in the area, pop by and say, "hi."

I certainly would if I could, Bear, but I have just to be patient and wait until August!

Here's wishing you all a great weekend at the Festival - indoors I trust!

It will be outdoors, on the wide sidewalks of Granville Street. On Sunday there will be the St. Patrick's Day parade.
It is a beautiful sunny day, with forcast highs of 14°c.
    I'll take lots of pics.

Well, Bear, you amaze me! I don't know why but I thought you'd all be under three feet of snow at this time of year!!

I am envious of your temperatures too. It's probably several weeks since ours reached double figures, and that's down here in the mild south of England. Currently at 4.40pm, discounting the wind-chill factor, it is just 6ºC and raining!

Looking forward to the photos - as always.

Vancouver is a moderate climate. Here in Wisconsin the high is predicted to be -5C no counting wind chill, which will probably take it down to -8C at least.

We had a great time at the Celtic Festival! Cub and I manned the booth for two days and sold a bunch of stuff. Cub was handing out cards with the speed of a blackjack dealer!

A public thank you to Doolin's for inviting us to share their booth. Go there! Buy beer! No line ups and the first Guiness is on the house for kilted guys.

And I finally got to meet Steve from Utilikilts. We didn't have a lot of time to chat but it was long enough for a good first impression. I introduced him to Evan, the GM of Doolin's Irish Pub, and the two of them disappeared into Doolin's for a while. They both looked a little happier when I next saw them.
This pic was taken during the packing up at the end of the second day, when everyone was tired.

    Great pictures Bear!

Doolin's is going to be my first stop if I ever get up to Vancouver. Your shop will follow soon after of course.

    Hey Bear,

What tartan is that brown colored one hanging from the booth? I like the earth tone colors.
