Chicago Irish Fest

Is anybody else going? Does anybody live near there? If I can't find a place to stay, I probably won't be able to go...

I'd really love to see Tommy Maikem again. Plus Gaelic football!

It's at the Irish Heritage Center which is really pretty far away from me so I was just going to skip it...sometimes it's easy to forget just how large Chicago actually is. One of my buddies who lives around here plays at the Heritage Center once in a while and he has opined that it's easier to do a gig in Indiana or Michigan than it is the schlep the gear up to the Irish Heritage Center.

Best

Milwaukee IrishFest.

And yes, it is a blast. It is basically what I live for every year. No joke, Milwaukee's IrishFest is not only the largest Irish festival (outside of Ireland), but it is definitely more fun than Christmas and St. Patrick's Day combined!
