Funny you should ask... My wife and I were just discussing this before I logged on. I live about the same distance from both. We have never been to the Frederick event so have no idea how big it is. I have been to USAKilts and can't imagine where everyone will park for the festival. We both like the Glengarry Bhoys (at Frederick) and both like Albannach (at Phoenixville.) We also like Enter the Haggis but aren't willing to pay the asking price for their show (have seen them for free at several local events.) All this comes down to: I have no idea yet which event we will be attending.

The last time I attended, last year or the year before I'm not sure, it was a rather small gathering. maybe the size of a football field. Looking at the list of clans and vendors on their web site it looks like it could be a fair bit larger this year.

I have also wondered about the parking at Phoenixville. I can remember a few parking lots but as the legs get older the distance my lady and I can walk from parking to the even begin to get shorter and shorter.

My lady is very heavly pointing at Phoenixville.
